Group Exhibition — “Being(s) there” at In Extenso, Clermont-Ferrand
LinGe Meng takes part in the group exhibition Being(s) there, presented at In extenso from May 5 to May 30, 2026. The exhibition brings together artists Tom Castinel, Tristan Chinal-Dargent, e.n.o.s., Rafael Moreno, Sirag Seseytan, and LinGe Meng around a reflection on living spaces, forms of presence, and relationships of coexistence.
Curated by a group of fourth-year students from ÉSACM as part of the program “Réalité d’une exposition,” Being(s) there explores the ways beings inhabit a place, move through it, and build connections with their environment. The exhibition investigates both the domestic, sensitive, and memorial dimensions of spaces, as well as the invisible relationships woven between humans, animals, and landscapes.
Within this context, LinGe Meng’s paintings unfold contemplative and dreamlike landscapes nourished by memory, childhood, and intimate experience. His anonymous figures, often suspended between appearance and disappearance, open spaces of projection where identity becomes fluid, fragile, and shared.
The exhibition takes place at In Extenso, an independent contemporary art space founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 2002, recognized for its support of emerging contemporary creation and experimental curatorial practices.
