Traces
Traces
Traces is an experimental visual series exploring the expressive potential of patterns, surfaces, and fragmented textures. Situated between graphic design, abstraction, and material memory, the project investigates how repetition, erosion, and visual noise can generate emotional and spatial depth.
Combining geometric structures, halftones, grunge textures, organic distortions, and layered compositions, the series transforms simple graphic elements into dynamic visual landscapes. Each image functions like an imprint — a residue of movement, pressure, rhythm, or disappearance.
The visual language of Traces draws inspiration from printmaking, industrial surfaces, digital artifacts, brutalist graphics, and modernist abstraction. Contrasts between order and imperfection create a tension where textures become almost tactile, oscillating between precision and decay.
Through monochrome studies and vibrant compositions, Traces explores the idea that surfaces are never neutral: they carry memory, transformation, and the visible marks of time. The series invites viewers to navigate a space where texture itself becomes narrative.
